I stayed at Sena's Place for a week during my beach vacation. The price was cheap and Sena even offered us delicious Sri Lankan food to try. Sena takes great care of the hostel, keeping it clean and tidy at all times. The quiet location, close to the main road, ensured a peaceful and undisturbed sleep. Sena, the perfect host, built the house himself and created a beautiful garden. He was always available to answer any questions and provided helpful recommendations. The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, beach, and bars.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Sena's Place were cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved having a desk in my room, perfect for catching up on work or planning our next adventure. The shared bathroom was always clean and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay.
While I enjoyed the shared bathroom, some guests might prefer private facilities.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the friendly and hardworking host who never stopped helping his guests. The location of the hotel was also a plus, as it was within easy walking distance from the train station. I was delighted when I asked about hiring a mask and snorkel for my snorkeling trip, and the host offered to lend me his own. It made my experience even more enjoyable!
That the hotel was a bit far away from the beach, but it was conveniently located next to the train and bus station. Another small drawback was the lack of hot water in the bathroom, although the water pressure was good.

Sena and his friends are a really nice group of guys, always ready to help. Good place to meet people and hang out with a steady stream of backpackers. Upgraded to a twin room for the whole stay. Regularly cleaned bathrooms, provided an extra fan. Nice breakfast juice. Quiet location.
Felt at home instantly, no reason to complain.

The continental breakfast at Sena's Place was such a delight, I couldn't resist going for seconds. The views from my dormitory bed were so stunning, I didn't want to leave. And the free shuttle service? Genius!
Oh, what a shame there wasn't a parade of unicorns to greet me at the entrance. So disappointing.

The hostel was cozy with a beautiful garden, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. the bed was comfortable, and despite no hot water, the water pressure in the bathroom was good. the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. the breakfast served was delicious, offering a great start to the day. the hostel's proximity to the bus and train station made it convenient for transportation and carrying luggage.
The WiFi was unfortunately very slow, making it difficult to use effectively. the hostel was a bit far from the beach, but it was still within a reasonable walking distance.
